Rental Policy

EQUIPMENT RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Rental Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a binding legal contract between Kreative Kreations Romance LLC (“KK Romance,” “Company,” “Lessor”) and the client booking the rental items (“Renter,” “Client,” “Lessee”). By issuing a deposit or executing an order, Renter agrees to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

1. Reservation, Payment & Invoicing

• Reservation Deposit: A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to hold inventory and secure the specified event date.

• Payment Terms: The remaining balance, including applicable taxes, delivery fees, and auxiliary charges, must be paid in full prior to delivery or customer pickup.

• Accepted Payment Methods: Payments must be made via electronic credit or debit card. Cash, personal checks, and cash-on-delivery (COD) are strictly prohibited.

• Cancellation for Non-Payment: KK Romance reserves the right to cancel any reservation and retain the deposit if full payment is not received by the designated due date.

2. Rental Period & Late Returns

• Standard Term: The rental period begins at the designated time of delivery or pickup and expires twenty-four (24) hours thereafter, unless expressly extended in writing.

• Overtime & Extensions: Extensions are subject to inventory availability and prior authorization. Unauthorized retention of property beyond the agreed rental period will incur late fees at standard daily commercial rates.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Schedule In the event of cancellation by Renter, written notice is required. Deposit refunds shall be calculated as follows:

• 30+ Days Prior to Event: 100% refund of deposit paid.

• 15–29 Days Prior to Event: 50% refund of deposit paid.

• Within 14 Days of Event: Deposit is 100% non-refundable.

Rescheduling requests are subject to equipment availability and operational discretion. Additional rescheduling fees may apply.

4. Delivery, Setup & Property Access

• Standard Delivery Scope: Standard delivery covers drop-off to a single, obstacle-free, ground-level site. Standard fees do not include assembly, uncrating, styling, positioning, or setup unless explicitly line-itemed in the contract.

• Site Requirements: Renter warrants that the delivery site is safe, accessible, and cleared. Renter assumes full responsibility for securing necessary permits, venue releases, or access authorization.

• Failure of Delivery: If delivery cannot be completed due to locked premises, blocked access, or missing authorization, Renter remains liable for full rental charges and additional drop-off re-attempt fees.

5. Equipment Inspection & Defect Notification

• Renter shall inspect all equipment immediately upon delivery or self-pickup.

• Renter must notify KK Romance in writing of any missing, broken, or malfunctioning items within four (4) hours of receipt.

• Failure to report defects within this timeframe constitutes conclusive acknowledgment that all equipment was received in good, clean, and operating condition.

6. Care, Use & Alterations

• Standard of Care: Renter assumes sole care, custody, and control of all property during the rental period. Equipment must be protected from weather exposure, moisture, theft, vandalism, and improper handling.

• Prohibited Actions: Renter shall not alter, modify, paint, repair, affix permanent decorations, or apply adhesives (e.g., tape, wax, glue, glitter) to rental items without prior written authorization.

• Prohibited Relocation: Renter shall not transport or relocate equipment beyond the designated event site unless written permission is granted.

7. Loss, Damage & Cleaning Fees

• Liability: Renter is strictly liable for replacement cost or repair expense for any item lost, stolen, damaged, or returned in unusable condition during the rental period.

• Cleaning Charges: Equipment must be returned free of food residue, excessive debris, wax, paint, tape residue, or environmental damage. Excessive cleaning requirements will incur automated labor fees billed to Renter’s card on file.

8. Inclement Weather & Force Majeure

• Renter assumes all risks associated with outdoor events and adverse weather conditions.

• Rental fees are non-refundable due to rain, wind, heat, or act of God.

• Renter agrees to collapse, cover, or shelter vulnerable equipment (such as market umbrellas, drapery, and soft furnishings) during high winds, heavy rain, or severe weather.

9. Photography & Marketing Release

• Unless revoked in writing prior to the event, Renter grants KK Romance a non-exclusive license to take photographs and audio/visual recordings of equipment setups at the event location.

• KK Romance may utilize such media for promotional, marketing, and portfolio purposes. No personally identifiable information (PII) of Renter or event guests will be disclosed without express consent.
